I am a Community Nutrition graduate (cum laude) of the University of the Philippines - Diliman.
I have experience as a Clinical Nutrition Intern in East Avenue Medical Center, where I was able to practice different aspects related to my field (i.e., patient assessment, nutrition diagnosis and intervention, patient monitoring, dietary communications, billing data entry, nutrition counseling).
I was also able to work as an Food Service intern in the University Food Service at the University of the Philippines - Diliman, where I obtained experience in managing catering services and personnel, checking and accounting for the inventory, data auditing, and recipe development.
Aside from my internships, I worked as an online ESL tutor in Engoo, where I helped foreign students learn the fundamentals of the English language, along with skills required for conversational English.
I am very fond of research, participating in both national and international conferences since high school. Currently, my interest lies heavily on nutrition-related research, i.e. gut microbiome.
