In my previous role I co-developed and maintained a Google Sheets system for a high-volume Amazon brand handling 8,000+ SKUs across 500+ tracked data fields. The system was built in three layers:
1. Live Sync Layer - Raw data pulled automatically from multiple sources including Amazon reports, ads data, listing scrapers, price scrapers, and more. API-connected or structured manual drops where needed.
2. Processing Layer - Data cleaned, validated, transformed, and compiled into a single unified database. Calculated fields built in, ready for downstream use.
3. End Dashboards - Self-service dashboards handed to sales managers and specialists. New users understood the system in under 3 minutes. Fully customizable views per user with no technical knowledge required.
By the time I left, the system supported 120 active end dashboards that update daily - covering pricing, procurement forecasting, inventory planning, PPC management, and performance tracking at scale.
I also handled all day-to-day maintenance - fixing discrepancies, improving formulas, resolving sync issues, and ensuring nothing breaks silently.
