I learn technical things fast, then make them understandable for everyone else.
That's been my role for the past 14 years at Coffee For Peace, a family social enterprise in the Philippines that supports 880+ farming families across 13 tribal communities.
I'm not the one who built the community relationships — that was the team. My job was to be the technical bridge: earn the certifications, learn the science, build the digital systems, and translate all of it into training materials, SOPs, visuals, and tools that the team could actually use on the ground.
Here's what that looked like in practice:
Needed quality standards? I earned dual Q Arabica and Q Robusta certifications, then created the processing guidelines and training curricula ("Farmerpreneur" program) so farmers could apply them independently.
Needed a brand? I designed the visual identity, merchandise, and content system — then built templates so anyone on the team could maintain consistency.
Needed an online presence? I evaluated platforms, built e-commerce sites (WordPress, Shopify), and am currently migrating to NextJS/React/Tailwind. I also set up the Google Ads, Facebook Business, and content strategy behind them.
Needed to explain the mission? I created the presentations, photography, video content, and documentation that told our story to partners, customers, and stakeholders.
The through-line across all of this: I take complex, technical things and make them accessible — whether that's coffee science for farmers, web platforms for small business owners, or brand systems for a team with no design background.
On the technical side, I build with NextJS, React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, WordPress/WooCommerce, and Shopify. I've shipped sites for clients in the Philippines and Canada, and I'm comfortable evaluating which platform fits a business before writing a single line of code.
I'm currently exploring remote opportunities where I can bring this same combination — technical skill plus the ability to translate it for real people — to a team that values both.
