Hello! My name is AJ Christian Saculingan, a humble and passionate creative from Bukidnon, Philippines. I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduate with a strong interest in video editing, videography, directing, visual arts, music production, and creative content creation.
My primary passion is video editing. Over the years, I have edited several short films, music parodies, and creative projects using CapCut on a low-end mobile device. Some of my projects include a 15-minute film with over 600 video clips, a 30-minute film with more than 1,000 clips, and a 5-minute project with over 500 clips(review it on my portfolio link). These experiences taught me patience, organization, attention to detail, and the importance of bringing different pieces together into a complete story.
Many of these projects were created as a one-man production team. I handled directing, videography, editing, project organization, and scene planning. I also have some experience in scriptwriting, although my strongest areas are editing, directing, and videography.
Throughout high school and college, I received awards and recognition for my creative work, including Best Editor, Best Director, 2nd Place awards, and a Championship title in film-related competitions. I also have experience in visual arts, painting, cartooning, poster making, and music production.
While most of my experience comes from academic and personal projects, I am eager to gain professional experience, learn from industry professionals, and continue improving my skills. My goal is not only to earn and support my family but also to grow as a creative professional and build a meaningful career in the industry.
I may be at the beginning of my professional journey, but I am willing to learn, adapt, and work hard. Every opportunity is a chance to gain new knowledge, develop new skills, and become a better version of myself.
