I'm Famelah, an operations professional with over 12 years of experience leading teams, coordinating daily operations, managing documentation, and communicating with people from different backgrounds. Most of my career has been in healthcare, where I learned how to stay organized, solve problems under pressure, and keep things running smoothly in fast-paced environments.
Recently, I decided to transition into the U.S. freight and logistics industry because I enjoy operations, coordination, and working behind the scenes to keep everything on track. I am currently completing a mentor-guided Freight & Logistics Internship, where I'm gaining hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), DAT Load Board, shipment tracking, track and trace, carrier communication, dispatch support, freight booking, FTL and LTL operations, freight rate negotiation, and transportation documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), Rate Confirmations (RCs), and Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
One thing that has remained consistent throughout my career is my work ethic. I'm dependable, organized, and someone who follows through. I enjoy learning new systems, asking questions, and finding better ways to get things done. Whether I'm coordinating with carriers, updating shipment records, or supporting daily operations, I always aim to be someone my team can rely on.
I'm looking for a long-term opportunity where I can continue to grow while making a meaningful contribution to the company. I'm interested in roles such as Freight & Logistics Virtual Assistant, Freight Operations Assistant, Dispatcher Assistant, Logistics Coordinator, Track & Trace Specialist, or other operations support positions.
I'm open to both full-time and part-time opportunities, and I'm flexible with my rate depending on the role, responsibilities, and growth potential.
