I've spent almost 9 years handling scheduling, records, and communication for a busy school with 240+ students, and I'm bringing that same reliability to remote admin and executive support work.
Here's what I've actually done:
Kept schedules, grading records, and reports accurate and on time for 240+ students every year, no missed deadlines;
Built presentations, reports, and documents using MS Office, Google Workspace, and Canva
Handled day-to-day communication with staff, parents, and students through email, meetings, and online platforms;
Use ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot regularly to work faster on drafting and research
C2 English (verified), so communication won't be a bottleneck.
My setup: 100 Mbps main internet with a mobile hotspot as backup, UPS plus a power station in case of outages, and a personal laptop with HD webcam and noise-cancelling headset. I can work US, UK, or AU hours, including graveyard shift.
After almost a decade teaching, I'm moving into virtual assistance for good, not as something temporary. I want to build a long-term working relationship with one client instead of juggling dozens of people's needs like I did in a classroom.
