I’m Vince, a product-minded software engineer with nearly three years of experience shipping production software for remote Singapore teams.
Most recently, I worked on backend APIs, data workflows, AI/LLM integrations and internal dashboard tools for a Property-Tech startup. My experience covers TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, Bigquery, Python, Docker, GCP, and LLM integrations.
I take ownership from understanding requirements and planning the approach through implementation, testing, iteration, and release. I’m comfortable joining an existing codebase, learning the product quickly, fixing issues, and building features that hold up in production.
AI has made code faster to produce, so I focus on what still requires engineering judgment: choosing the right problem, validating the approach, managing trade-offs, and shipping reliably. I use AI to accelerate development while keeping architecture, testing, and final decisions under my responsibility.
I work independently without disappearing. I communicate progress, raise risks early, collaborate closely with the team, and take responsibility for the outcome, not just the code.
