I’m who founders call when the quick build is hitting its limits and the proper custom one needs to ship.
5+ years across fintech, insurance, AI startups, and now construction. Sole or lead engineer at most stops, audit-and-rebuild as the repeated pattern.
Where I’m at:
Right now — Senior DE at a U.S. construction general contractor (via Emapta). Running a Hive-to-Unity-Catalog migration on Databricks, rebuilding pipelines for executive dashboards.
Recently — ~2.5 years as part-time founding engineer at an early-stage AI startup, concurrent with the agency role. Rebuilt the production image-generation backend through three architecture generations, shipped an AI-assisted v2 rewrite in a one-month sprint, and built a multi-agent orchestration platform for venture research on the side.
What I can own end-to-end:
Backend + APIs — FastAPI, SQLModel, Celery, ARQ, Redis, Ably. Payments / CRM / ERP integration via Apigee, OAuth2, REST.
Data engineering — PySpark, Databricks (Hive + Unity Catalog), Snowflake, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery, dbt.
AI development — LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI API, Pinecone,
dify.ai, SDXL / LoRA training.
Cloud + DevOps — Azure DevOps, AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean,
-----------, Docker, Kubernetes, Infisical.
Databases — PostgreSQL, Supabase, MongoDB, SQL Server.
Team side — mentorship, code review, roadmap ownership, Jira / Kanban PM.
What I’m looking for:
Part-time or fractional engagements where the brief is real: audit an existing build, plan the custom one, manage the roadmap, guide developers. Fractional CTO, founding engineer, technical lead, architect.
