I am handling a B2B lob for a financial acount. We deal with bankers directly instead of their cardholders. I am part of the Authorization team which focuses on research why a transaction was declined, why a transaction was approved when a blocking is in place, review the status of the transaction-- whether it was settled, reversed, approved or declined, check whether an issuer or acquirer holds the funds, review the requirement of transactions being sent to make sure it is in compliance to client's regulation which will prevent the transaction from being declined or subjected to Integrity fee.
Since I deal with bankers and my job mostly consists of research, I am very independent, resourceful and critical thinker which I believe is essential in providing the assistance my customers' ----------- addition to that, our main form of communication is via email hence, I am used to business writing.
